Transatlantique Race 2019

The whole crew of JP54 - The Kid for Transatlantic Race 2019

On june 25th, the JP54 The Kid was ready to cross the Atlantic from Newport, US to the Isle of Wight, England. The crew, very motivated, has been training in the West Indies for some days of sailing with Jean-Pierre sooner in the season.

This was a very good transatlantic alongside valuable competitors and a very challenging and passionate race since the very beginning and especially alongside the northern American coast. At the end, the fleet has faced very different weather conditions with very light wind.

Congratulation to the whole crew for having participate and fighting for this wonderful race !

This transatlantique race has been a unique and incredible experience that allowed me to live for 15 days offshore racing on a beautiful regatta boat.
I will keep very beautiful pictures with a changing weather, a wind sometimes violent and a very close crew thanks to Jean Pierre who managed to share his commitment and his passion for the sea !
